JunHe has announced that Ryan Choi has joined the firm as a partner in its Hong Kong office.

Ryan Choi focuses on Hong Kong capital markets, post-listing compliance, corporate finance and M&A, and brings more than a decade of experience to his practice. Prior to joining JunHe, he practised at Kirkland & Ellis in Hong Kong, where he was promoted to partner in 2022. He also previously worked at Sidley Aus tin and Loeb & Loeb.

Ryan Choi’s arrival follows the recent addition of partner Rongjing Zhao earlier this month, marking another hire from an international firm. Since the beginning of the year, JunHe has welcomed multiple lateral hires across its offices in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Hong Kong, with practices spanning civil and commercial disputes, customs, private equity and technology investment.

It is understood that Ryan Choi ’s transfer procedures are currently underway.
