Jones Day has announced that Kay-Jannes Wegner has joined the firm’s Global Disputes practice as a partner, based in its Singapore office.

Mr. Wegner focuses on international arbitration, representing clients across Asia and Europe in proceedings spanning the construction, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Prior to joining Jones Day, he was a partner in Mayer Brown’s Singapore office and previously served as a foreign legal consultant with Korean firm Kim & Chang. He also practiced in the Singapore office of Herbert Smith Freehills and the London and Singapore offices of Clifford Chance.
