Universal Music Greater China has announced the appointment of Cora Lam as Head of Legal and Business Affairs, overseeing all legal and commercial matters related to the company’s business and corporate operations across Greater China.

Lam is qualified to practice law in Hong Kong and in England and Wales, and brings over two decades of experience in the music and entertainment industry. Prior to joining Universal Music, she served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs for Warner Music Group Asia, and previously served as Director of Legal and Business Affairs at EMI Music Asia. Earlier in her career, Lam also worked at Allen & Overy.

Her appointment takes effect immediately. Patsy Chan, Senior Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs for Asia, will continue with the company until the end of the year, focusing on Southeast Asia operations.
