Shihui Law has officially launched its Hong Kong office to mark its 10th anniversary, entering into an association with Hong Kong firm H.M. Chan & Co.

Founded in 2016, Shihui Law’s practice areas cover intellectual property, private equity, M&A, dispute resolution, compliance, data protection, securities and capital markets, investment funds, wealth management, asset securitisation, antitrust/competition law, sanctions and anti-sanctions as well as export controls, foreign direct investment, outbound investment, and employment law. Headquartered in Beijing, the firm previously maintained offices in Shanghai and Shenzhen. The newly established Hong Kong office represents its first overseas branch.

Founded in 2015, H.M. Chan & Co. focuses on corporate and corporate finance matters. Prior to this association, the founding partners of the two firms have maintained a working relationship spanning more than 15 years and jointly handled numerous cross-border transactions over that period.

Shihui Law’s Hong Kong office will continue to expand its core practice areas and further develop capabilities in funds, private wealth and dispute resolution. Several professionals are expected to join the office in the coming months.
