Ashurst Perkins Coie announces Ying Wang to join Singapore technology transactions team

Ashurst Perkins Coie has announced that Ying Wang will join the firm’s technology transactions team in Singapore. Subject to the approval of local regulators, Ms. Wang will commence practice as a partner at the Singapore office.
Ms. Wang brings 20 years of legal experience and has long been active in the Singapore and wider Asia-Pacific legal markets. She focuses on technology, the digital economy and fintech, with a practice spanning technology transactions, intellectual property, technology and data regulation, as well as financing and M&A for technology companies. She regularly advises financial institutions and technology companies on AI applications, data governance, real-world asset tokenisation and digital asset-related matters, and has extensive experience in cross-border regulation, licensing and product compliance.
Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Ms. Wang was a partner in the Singapore office of Simmons & Simmons. Earlier in her career, she worked at Taylor Vinters Via LLC and co-founded Via Law Corporation. She previously served as a partner at B. Rao & KS Rajah and as a director of New World Mall Management Ltd. Co., where she was responsible for the company’s legal affairs in China.
